- Mutual Aid Group Members consist of groups of 5, 7, or 9 unemployed individuals. Each member commits to providing 20 hours per week to one of the following options.
- Common Interest Projects: Contributing to community projects and actively participating in community initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the communal section where they live.
- Local Enterprises: Working with local businesses to gain invaluable on-the-job training and hands-on experience that can lead to future employment opportunities.
2. Mutual Aid Group members participate for a period of 18 months.
- During this time, they receive a monthly participation incentive of 100 USD, along with 10 hours of training in literacy, numeracy, and civic and moral instruction.
- Participants also agree to keep their children in school and actively search for employment.
3. At the end of the 18-month period, existing members will leave the program, and new members will be invited to participate for another 18 months
